Beet

Beet is a prideful young man who had been personally sponsored by Chairman Rose, who gave Beet his first Pokémon, later revealed to be his Hatterene, upon visiting his orphanage when he was a child. While he is competing in the Gym Challenge to become Champion, he has been gathering Wishing Stars in large quantities to help the Chairman realize his ambition.
