Chiharu Mihara

Grade: 4th

Chiharu Mihara is a friend and classmate of Sakura Kinomoto, as well as a fellow member of the cheerleading squad. Chiharu is often in charge of stopping Takashi Yamazaki when he starts spinning lies about the history of objects and events. Though she is regularly seen jokingly strangling him or dragging him away by his collar, they have been friends since kindergarten and are a couple.

In the anime adaptation, Chiharu and Yamazaki's relationship is less clearly stated, but she gives him chocolates for Valentine's Day, and they are frequently seen together both in and out of school.
