Hisako Kotobuki

A brilliant student serving as the high school division's student council president. She ranks first overall academically, with English being her strongest subject.

An outstanding individual who excels in both academics and athletics and is highly respected by others, she is frequently teased by those around her—especially Arisu Terui—due to a clumsy, scatterbrained streak stemming from her status as a closet pervert.

The other cast members are so eccentric that she ends up appearing relatively ordinary and understated by comparison. While she technically holds the "heroine" position, in reality, she often plays the victim, constantly pushed around by the oddballs surrounding her—a role that makes her quite a pitiable character.

Her sensible and reserved nature only adds to this sense of misfortune; she harbors a secret crush on the protagonist, Ume Mizunoe, but tends to step back whenever the other girls—with their overpowering personalities—interact with him, leaving her feelings unrequited.

She holds a familial affection for the other student council members, though her feelings—including those for Ume—can sometimes be so intense that they leave her emotionally flustered.

She inherited her personality from her father, while her tendency to jump to extreme conclusions comes from her mother. She has a younger brother and a younger sister.
